All customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding the purchase, possession, and transfer of firearms, ammunition, and related products.
Southern Bids only ships firearms to licensed dealers (FFL holders or C&R license holders). We are not responsible for legal issues arising from your purchase, possession, or transfer of products.
You must confirm the legality of items in your state and at your dealer before ordering.
2. Age & Eligibility Requirements
Ammunition
By purchasing ammunition, you affirm that:
- You are at least 21 years old
- You are a U.S. citizen
- You have no felony convictions or other disqualifying criminal records
- You are not prohibited from possessing ammunition under any law
- You have never been adjudicated mentally incompetent
All ammunition sales are final.
Firearms
By purchasing firearms, you affirm that:
- You meet federal age requirements (18+ for long guns, 21+ for handguns/receivers)
- You are legally permitted to own a firearm
- All transfers will be completed through a licensed dealer
- All firearms purchases are final once the transfer is completed.
Southern Bids is not liable for dealer transfer issues, fees, or errors.
3. Orders & Payment
- Southern Bids accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Southern Bids gift cards.
- Payment must be received in full before shipping.
- Billing address should match shipping address for Non-FFL items.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. Sale or promotional pricing applies only for the advertised period.
- Alternative financing, if offered, is handled by third-party providers; all associated fees are the customer’s responsibility.
4. Shipping & Handling
- Firearms and ammunition cannot be shipped together.
- Shipping may occur from multiple locations.
- Customers must provide a licensed dealer for firearm transfers.
- Shipping insurance is recommended; customers are responsible for accurate shipping addresses.
- Orders requiring adult signatures must be signed upon delivery.
- We do not ship to PO Boxes.
- We do not ship to CA
5. Cancellations & Returns
- Orders may be canceled before shipment; restocking fees apply for orders already processed.
- Return requests must be submitted within 15 days of delivery.
- Items must be returned in original condition, box unopened with an RMA number.
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item was sent in error.
- All ammunition and firearms are final sale unless defective or shipped incorrectly.
6. Product Warranty & Condition
New Products
Warranty coverage is provided by the manufacturer. Southern Bids may assist in facilitating warranty claims, but shipping costs to the manufacturer are generally the customer’s responsibility.
Used Products
Sold as-is. Southern Bids provides no warranty for used items. Customers should inspect items before use.
7. Gift Cards
- Gift cards are delivered electronically via email.
- Cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.
- Lost or stolen gift cards are the responsibility of the purchaser.
- Gift cards have no expiration or service fees.
8. Customer Reviews & Content
By submitting content or reviews to southernbids.com, you grant Southern Bids a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the content for marketing and promotional purposes. Content must not violate any laws or third-party rights.
9. Risk & Liability
Southern Bids is not responsible for:
- Damage or injury resulting from use or misuse of products
- Shipping delays or lost packages once shipped
- Legal consequences of improper use, transfer, or possession
- Dealer errors during firearm transfers
Use of products is at your own risk.

By providing your email or phone number, you consent to receive communications, including promotions, updates, and notifications from Southern Bids. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
Southern Bids’ liability is limited to the purchase price of the item(s) in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which Southern Bids operates, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
